What you can do with the content and templates here, what this site does and doesn't promise, and where responsibility sits. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

These terms cover the website at hamidulhaque.com— the pages, the articles, the free tools, and the templates. Using the site means you accept them. If you don't, the site isn't for you.
They do not cover paid client work. Scope, timelines, revisions, payment, and ownership of the finished work are set out in the proposal and contract you sign before a project starts. If anything there conflicts with this page, the contract wins.
I'm Hamidul Haque, an independent copywriter, designer, and developer based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, operating as a sole practitioner. Throughout this page, “I” and “me” mean me; “you” means whoever is using the site. Reach me at hello@hamidulhaque.com.
This is a portfolio and a publication. It shows work I've done, explains services I offer, and shares articles, tools, and templates that I hope are useful.
Nothing on it is a binding offer. Prices, timelines, and availability described here are indicative, and a project only becomes an engagement once we've both agreed terms in writing. Submitting an enquiry doesn't oblige me to take the work, and it doesn't oblige you to hire me.
Read it, share it, quote it with credit, apply what you learn to your own business. That's what it's for. What you may not do:
If any of that happens, I may block access without warning. I'd rather not — but the site runs on a budget, and abuse costs real money.
The writing, page designs, layouts, illustrations, code, and the “hamidul haque” name and logo on this site are mine, or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. Reading the site gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to view it — nothing more.
Client logos, brand marks, and project screenshots belong to the businesses they represent and appear here as examples of work, not as endorsements you can reuse.
Want to reproduce something? Quote a paragraph with a link back, no permission needed. Anything larger, ask me — the answer is usually yes.
Files from the templates page are released for you to use, adapt, and build on — including for commercial client projects. You don't owe me a credit, though it's appreciated.
What you can't do is turn them into a competing product:
Access requests are reviewed individually, and I may decline one without giving a reason. Files are provided as they are, with no promise that they suit your particular project and no obligation on me to maintain, update, or support them.
The articles, tools, and audits described on this site are general information, not professional advice tailored to your business. Your market, budget, competition, and starting position all change what will work. Judge it against your own situation before acting on it, and take proper legal, financial, or tax advice where the stakes call for it.
I also want to be direct about outcomes. Search rankings, traffic, and conversion rates depend on factors nobody controls — search engine algorithms, competitor activity, seasonality, your offer, your pricing. Figures, case studies, and averages shown on this site describe past projects. They're not a forecast for yours, and no page here should be read as promising a specific ranking, traffic level, or revenue result.
Booking a call sends you to Cal.com, a separate company with its own terms and privacy policy. Booking a slot reserves time for a conversation — it isn't a contract for work, and either of us can reschedule or cancel.
The newsletter is opt-in and every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. I don't add enquiry-form contacts to it, and I don't pass your address to anyone. There's no fixed schedule, and I may pause or end the newsletter at any point.
Where I link to another site — a tool, a source, a social profile — it's because I found it useful, not because I've vetted it or stand behind it. I don't control what those sites publish, sell, or collect, and I'm not responsible for what happens once you leave this one.
I'll keep the site up and working, but I can't guarantee it will be available without interruption. Hosting fails, deployments break, and maintenance happens. I may also change, move, or remove any page, article, tool, or template at any time — including this one — without notice. Material changes to these terms will be dated at the top of the page, and continuing to use the site after that counts as accepting them.
The site and everything free on it is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. I don't warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free, or that the site or its files are free of anything harmful.
I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, lost opportunity — arising from your use of this site or anything you downloaded from it. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to what you paid me for access to the site, which for everything described on this page is nothing.
None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow to be excluded. Liability arising from paid client work is dealt with in your project contract, not here.
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you're a consumer in another country, this doesn't remove protections you have under your own local law. Before anyone reaches for a court, email me — nearly everything is faster to fix by conversation.
